Our Organization
Metro Catholic Outreach is a collaborative project of the 11 Catholic parishes of the Cedar Rapids, Iowa metro area. This outreach provides a food pantry, community assistance referrals, and financial assistance for housing and utilities to those in need in the Cedar Rapids Metro area.

In a collaborative effort, all metro Catholic parishes will develop a Social Justice and Outreach Center of excellence.
Mission Statement
All area Catholic parishes worked together to establish a consistent and efficient delivery of Social Justice and Outreach services to people in need in our metro communities. The foundation for this effort are the 7 Key Principles of Catholic Social Teachings as outlined by the Archdiocese of Dubuque. Development included all areas of Social Justice and Outreach, using and refining best practices currently in place in our parishes as our guide.
